  • ~The Story~

    To embrace wildness is to humble yourself. Nature has a way of roots and decay. A way of floating seed floss, and sticky seed burs. Seeds swallowed by blackbirds, seeds gathered by others. Seeds called by sunlight and cradled by moss. The prairie smoke, though tiny, sends her seeds far upon the breeze.

     You do not grow a prairie, but open your land to her wild hand, and a prairie may gather itself to you.

    Prairie Smoke is one of my favorite prairie flowers. I love its enchanting wispy seeds and lacy leaves.
