This original painting was painted with acrylic paint on Bristol board. It was created by layering washes of acrylic paint to build up depth and vibrant color.
The painting is a love song to the idea of thriving. I often hear the sentiment 'bloom where you are planted'. But I believe that growth necessitates change. It's okay to outgrow where you are planted if that's what you need to blossom.
 
This original painting measures 10"x13". 
It has been framed within a handcrafted woodland frame.
