Puerto Rico, Mi Borinquen

The Story ~ No matter how far you wander remember the taste of mangos and mofongo. The scent of the ocean, and warmth of the waves. The beat of the music that stirs in your blood is borinquen.  No matter how far from the sea, from the island, you carry Puerto Rico in your heart.

I painted the Angel de Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria hit. I knew I needed to help out the families on the island. I pulled an all nighter to finish the painting and sold prints to raise funds to help Puerto Rico with disaster relief. 

I painted the Angel as a way to honor the island.
The Angel de Puerto Rico is available as an archival print in sizes 8"x10" and 11"x14"


About the 8"x10"Print.
        This is a full bleed print. the image fills the paper
 Is printed on 110 lb. acid free paper.
        Is carefully packaged with a sturdy, protective board backing (So your print will not bend).
Comes in a Resealable acid-free crystal clear bag.
Comes signed on the back.

About the 11"x14" print
        This print is full bleed, meaning it has no border.
        It is printed on archival crystal photo paper with archival ink so it will never fade. 
        It has a satin finish. 
        It is carefully packaged in a re-sealable acid-free crystal clear bag with board backing. The  board 
        backing protects the print during shipping and while it is displayed. 
        

Background:

Together we raised over $300 which I donated to the Hispanic Federation.

I also donated some prints to auctions which were also raising funds.
